If you are planning to visit the Isle of Wight, you have two options to choose from with Red Funnel. Red Funnel is the original Isle of Wight ferry company that has been operating since 1861. You can either take the Southampton-East Cowes service or the Southampton-West Cowes service, depending on your needs and preferences.

The Southampton-East Cowes service is suitable for both vehicle and foot passengers. It takes about 60 minutes to cross the Solent and reach the island. You can enjoy a comfortable and spacious journey with a range of facilities on board, such as cafes, bars, lounges, shops and free Wi-Fi. You can also admire the stunning views of the coastline and the yachts along the way. This service operates year-round with up to 25 sailings per day.

The Southampton-West Cowes service is ideal for foot passengers who want a faster and more convenient way to get to the island. It takes only 30 minutes to travel on the high-speed catamarans that whisk you across the water. You can relax in the air-conditioned cabins or on the sun deck and make use of the free Wi-Fi and charging points. You can also access the terminal facilities at both ends of the route, such as toilets, vending machines and ticket offices. This service runs daily with up to 30 sailings per day.
